Active Shooter

DTI understands that you need to actively prepare for a catastrophe in order to respond to it in an efficient manner. Your agency must continually update and evaluate policies and procedures pertaining to active shooter scenarios. Today's threat is fluid in nature so your plan must continue to evolve to meet the scope and size of the threat. You will not receive a checklist form us. With DTI you will receive cutting edge tactics and we will help you to enhance your current plan of action.
Recent tragedies only emphasis the importance of being proactive in order to stop preventable attacks or to minimize the damage caused by events that cannot be foreseen.
DTI has designed this course to help law enforcement agency's deal with the rise in active shooters not only in schools but other highly populated areas as well.
DTI instructors will take the student through extensive live fire  drills, training weapon force on force drills and multiple scenarios.
Our Active Shooter course has been developed by current and former S.W.A.T. officers along with law enforcement trainers that are among the best in their fields.
DTI has utilized common use of force continuum's in creating the  course. This will give your Officers simple and practical techniques they can use in any situation they may face.
All DTI programs are designed to be court defensible, medically sound and meet state standards.
